Dr. John was born and raised in Northwest Indiana where he was a 1982 graduate of Merrillville High School. He graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 1986 and in 1990 graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. John G. Kostides served on the Indiana State Board of Dentistry from 2001 until 2007 and is a current member of the Indiana Dental Association, the Northwest Indiana Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He continues to attend various higher education courses to ensure his patients receive top-quality care.  

Outside of the office, Dr. John G. Kostides enjoys spending time with his wife of 30 years (and counting) and their three daughters. He also loves to cook delicious food for his friends and family and will never pass up an invitation to go fishing with his buddies!
